K-6 Dress Code Policy

At Burns Sci-Tech, students in grades K–6 follow a uniform policy designed to promote school pride, reduce distractions, and create a positive learning environment. Students wear solid-colored polo shirts or school T-shirts in forest green, Kelly green, light blue, or navy blue with navy, black, or khaki bottoms such as shorts, slacks, skirts, or jumpers. Closed-toe, closed-heel shoes are required, and jeans may be worn on Fridays. Uniforms help minimize visible socioeconomic differences and encourage focus on academic growth and personal development.
Secondary Dress Code Policy

At Burns Sci-Tech, students in grades 7–12 are required to follow a uniform dress code that promotes professionalism, school pride, and equity. Students must wear approved uniform shirts, either polos (with or without the school logo) or school-logo T-shirts paired with solid-color bottoms such as slacks, shorts, skirts, or joggers. Outerwear like sweaters, hoodies, or blazers must be in dress-code-approved solid colors and worn over a uniform shirt. Jeans may be worn only if they are solid dark blue or black and free of rips or embellishments. Shoes must be closed-toe and closed-heel for safety.
