We’re 70% of the Way to our Wrangler’s Ball Goal!

We are excited to share that we have reached 70% of our $100,000 goal for this year’s Wrangler’s Ball with two weeks to go. This incredible progress is thanks to the generosity of our families, staff, and community partners who continue to show their support for Burns Sci-Tech.

One of the special things about donating to the Wrangler’s Ball is that sponsors can choose where their donation goes. Whether your passion is for STEM programs, AP classes, Theater, Sports, Lit Lab, or the TRADE program, you can designate your contribution to directly support those areas. Every sponsorship, no matter the size, helps strengthen the programs that make Burns Sci-Tech such a unique and inspiring school community.

Events like the Wrangler’s Ball are essential for charter and choice schools like ours. Burns Sci-Tech receives $2,400 less per student than other Volusia County schools, creating a $2.64 million annual gap. Fundraisers like this help bridge that gap and ensure that our students have access to the best possible tools, programs, and opportunities. Without this event and the incredible support of our families and community, we would not be able to offer the dynamic and engaging learning environment that defines Burns Sci-Tech.

New this year, you can sponsor a teacher ticket so that our hardworking educators can enjoy a well-deserved night out. It is a wonderful way to give back to those who give so much to our students every day.

We are also excited to share the current standings in our grade level and homeroom contest:

• 1st Place: 3rd Grade with $10,900

• 2nd Place: Kindergarten with $10,725

• 3rd Place: 5th Grade Team with $5,575

  
  

Tickets for the Wrangler’s Ball are selling quickly. Each ticket includes beer, wine, food, and $500 in chips to try your luck at the tables. This is one of the most exciting events of the year and a celebration you will not want to miss.
