Water Slides, Tug of War, and House Champions—Color Bash 2025 Had It All!

There’s no better way to wrap up the school year than with our annual Color Bash, and this year’s event was one for the books! With sunshine, laughter, and a whole lot of color, our campus was buzzing with excitement from start to finish.

With over 40 incredible volunteers, the field came alive with fun activities that had something for everyone: tug of war, inflatable water slides, sponge races, obstacle courses, grass volleyball, and a snow cone station to keep us all cool under the sun. Everywhere you looked, there were smiles, high-fives, and students celebrating all they’ve accomplished this year.

Our very own Coach Carignan and Coach Chris kept the energy high, zipping around in their side-by-side, soaking everyone with their water guns. Their spirit and humor set the tone for the day and had both students and staff laughing nonstop.

One of the best parts? Seeing all our teachers jump right into the fun alongside their students. Mrs. Stokes and Mrs. Tucker raced down the water slide, sharing laughs and making memories with their classes. Mr. Hall jumped right into the sack races and showed his team how it's done. Mr. Rush joined students for impromptu basketball games on the court, proving once again that our staff is all in when it comes to building strong relationships and having fun.

What made the day even more special was the way our school community came together. Older students were spotted cheering on the younger kids, helping them through obstacle courses, and offering words of encouragement. It was a beautiful reminder of the mentorship, kindness, and connection that define Burns Sci-Tech.

And then came the epic teacher and staff inflatable race, a hilarious and unforgettable moment! Congratulations to Ms. Hilton (the speedy cow) for claiming first place, and to Ms. Tudeen (sumo style!) for a very close second. The cheering crowd made it feel like the Olympics of inflatable suits!

Finally, we wrapped up the day by announcing our House Winners for the year. After months of teamwork, spirit days, and house competitions, the results are in:

🥇 1st Place – Onraka with 44,570 points

🥈 2nd – Reveur with 44,212 points

🥉 3rd – Altruismo with 43,335 points

🏅 4th – Sollevare with 42,741 points

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Coach Chris and Coach Carignan for once again creating a magical Color Bash experience. And to our amazing volunteers and staff, thank you for your hard work, dedication, and love for our students. This day wouldn’t be possible without you.

Color Bash is more than just a field day, it’s a celebration of the joy, growth, and perseverance of an entire year. We made it through together, and now it’s time to rest, recharge, and reflect.
