At Burns Sci-Tech, sports are more than just games, they're powerful opportunities for growth, teamwork, confidence, and connection. But none of that would be possible without the incredible volunteers who give their time, energy, and heart to make it happen.
This year, we’re proud to spotlight Matt Daly, John Drake, and Cindy West, a dedicated group of volunteers who stepped up as coaches and mentors for our coed soccer and basketball teams. These amazing individuals showed up consistently with patience, enthusiasm, and a deep belief in our students.
From running practices and organizing games to offering encouragement on the sidelines and guidance off the field, they’ve gone above and beyond to ensure every student had a chance to learn, play, and grow. Their commitment is helping create not only a strong athletic program, but also confident, resilient students.
The truth is: sports at our school would not exist without volunteers like them, and we are incredibly grateful.
As we look to the future of athletics, we’re excited to bring more energy and support into the mix. A big part of that is reviving our Booster Club, and we need you to help make it happen!
This is a perfect opportunity to:
Get involved in a meaningful way
Support our students
Fulfill your volunteer hours for the upcoming school year
Beginning next year, our updated volunteer policy will outline clear expectations for family involvement. Families will be asked to contribute volunteer time throughout the year, including coaching, supporting clubs and events, being involved with ENO, helping in the classroom, or joining the Booster Club, are just a few of the opportunities available.
If you’re skilled at fundraising, organizing events, or simply love cheering on our kids, now is the time to get involved!
Let’s continue building strong programs, strong students, and a strong school community together.
