We are excited to share some wonderful news from our Trade Program at Burns Science & Technology Charter School! The Volusia Building Industry Association (VBIA) has generously donated a set of tools to support our students’ hands-on learning, along with a $500 contribution to help our program continue to grow.

Partnerships like this are vital to the success of our Trade Program. These tools and funds will go directly toward giving students real-world learning opportunities, preparing them for careers that are both practical and essential. Without the support of business partners like VBIA, programs such as ours would not be able to expand and thrive.

The importance of the Trades cannot be overstated. They are the backbone of our communities, and by giving students the chance to explore these fields, we are not only preparing them for future success but also strengthening the workforce of tomorrow. Every donation, whether it be tools, funding, or time, helps our students gain valuable skills, confidence, and direction for their futures.

If you or your business would like to get involved by donating materials, contributing financially, or even volunteering your time to share your trade skills, please reach out to Mr. Carignan at CarignanT@burnsscitech.org. Your partnership can make a lasting difference in the lives of our students and help us continue to build a strong Trade Program for years to come.

On behalf of our students, staff, and community, thank you again to the Volusia Building Industry Association for your generosity and commitment to education. Together, we are building brighter futures.
