Last Friday, our campus came alive with color, creativity, and storybook magic as students and staff celebrated Halloween with our annual Storybook Parade. From our littlest readers in kindergarten to our high school students, everyone joined in the fun, bringing beloved book characters to life in the most imaginative ways.
The creativity on display was incredible. We spotted The Pout-Pout Fish swimming down the hallway, the Scooby-Doo gang solving mysteries together, and a cheerful crowd of Minions who got very excited when a few bananas wandered by (a good reminder to keep your distance from hungry Minions!). Our administration team suited up as superheroes, the high school English department raced through the day as Mario Kart characters, and the 5th and 6th-grade teachers were spreading smiles dressed as Care Bears.

It was a day filled with laughter, excitement, and a shared love for reading and creativity. Events like this remind us that stories have the power to bring people together, and our students’ enthusiasm made that spirit shine through.
Adding to the celebration, our bake sale to support the 6th-grade Epic field trip was a sweet success! Thank you to all the families who stopped by to donate or purchase a pastry. Your generosity and support mean so much to our school community.
And the celebration of reading doesn’t stop there! We’re looking forward to Literacy Week, coming up November 17–21, and Literacy Night on November 20th from 5:00–7:00 p.m. These events are a wonderful way to continue fostering a love of reading across all grade levels. We hope to see our students and families join in the fun as we keep the spirit of storytelling and imagination alive.
The Storybook Parade is always a highlight of the year, and this one was no exception. Thank you to our students, staff, and families for helping make it such a memorable day.
