We have a full calendar of events ahead, and we cannot wait to celebrate with all of you.

Students taking AP exams should be aware that these tests begin promptly at either 8:00 AM or 12:00 PM on their scheduled day. It is important that students arrive on time and prepared.
Testing schedules may vary depending on the assessment. Some tests follow strict time windows, while others allow students most of the school day to complete them. Please refer to the testing letters for specific timing details and additional information.
May 4–8 | Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week

Next week, May 4 through May 8, we will be celebrating Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week. This is a special time to recognize the incredible educators and staff members who support, guide, and inspire our students every day.
Families and students are encouraged to join in by showing appreciation in simple and meaningful ways throughout the week:
Monday: Make a card or create something special like origami to bring to your teacher
Tuesday: Bring a treat for your teacher
Wednesday: Write a short poem with a rhyme to share
Thursday: Bring in a classroom supply

Before we head fully into summer, we will host our final campus clean up day until August on Saturday, May 30 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
We will be working to repair and rebuild our raised garden beds. We have some supplies available but could use additional wood, even scrap wood, as well as nails, hammers, and tools to help take apart the old beds and build new ones. Our goal is to repair as much as possible and continue improving our campus together.
We will also be assembling a new metal greenhouse, generously supplied by ENO, adding another exciting improvement to our campus.
Last Week of School
The final week of school for our students is the week of May 25. In observance of Memorial Day, there will be no school.
May 27 and May 28 will be early release days, with dismissal two hours early(1:30). May 28 will be the last day of school for students.
This school year has been one to remember. From academic growth and student achievements to performances, competitions, and community events, our students have continued to rise to every challenge and truly embody what it means to be part of Burns Sci-Tech. We have seen leadership develop, confidence grow, and students discover new passions and opportunities that will shape their future.
None of this would be possible without the dedication of our teachers and staff, the support of our families, and the commitment of our students. Together, we have built something special, and it is clear that Burns Sci-Tech continues to be a place where students are encouraged to aim high, work hard, and soar.
