Burns was filled with energy, creativity, and applause as our students took the stage for this year’s annual Talent Show. Students in grades K–12 auditioned in January, with approximately 25 acts trying out and around 18 earning a spot in the final show. From the very first performance, it was clear that our students were ready to shine.
The variety of talent on display was incredible. We enjoyed powerful vocal performances, hilarious comedy acts, impressive dance routines, and even a thrilling Star Wars battle scene. Our students truly showed up and showed out.
We were also thrilled to have the fabulous Troy Pandelos as our MC for all three shows. His energy, humor, and professionalism kept the program running smoothly and made each performance even more entertaining.
On the day of the event, students performed three times: once in the morning for K–6 students, again in the afternoon for grades 7–12, and finally in the evening for parents and community members. Each show was filled with excitement and pride as our performers shared their talents.
K–6 Winners
3rd Place: Kai for his comedic act
2nd Place: Leela and her “Flying Monkey” Lucy for their performance of Popular
1st Place: Summer for her beautiful rendition of What Was I Made For?

7–12 Winners
3rd Place: Jaxon for his amazing dance routine
2nd Place: Brenner for his performance of Wouldn't You Like
1st Place: Lex for her stunning rendition of All That Jazz
While these students earned top honors, every performer who dared to step on stage deserves recognition. Each act brought something special to the show, and all of our students were truly amazing.
We would also like to extend a big thank you to our entire student body, who cheered enthusiastically and supported their peers throughout every performance. Their encouragement helped create such a positive and uplifting atmosphere for all of our performers. A heartfelt thank you goes to our music teacher, Mr. Leve, for organizing and producing such a wonderful event. His dedication and passion made this show possible. We are also grateful to all of our students for their hard work, as well as to the parents and community members who came out to support and celebrate our talented performers.
The Burns Talent Show continues to be a highlight of our year, and this year’s performances reminded us just how talented and creative our students are. We are so proud of every one of them and look forward to many more memorable performances in the future.
