Our ENO, which serves as our school’s PTA, continues to make a meaningful impact on our campus through its dedication, generosity, and commitment to our students and staff. Through student celebrations, campus improvements, and staff support, ENO plays an essential role in creating a positive and supportive school environment.

Last Friday, ENO hosted a special Pizza Luncheon to celebrate our Science Fair students who advanced to the district level. The luncheon included pizza, chips, soda, oranges, cupcakes, and cookies, giving students the chance to relax, connect, and enjoy being recognized for their outstanding achievements. It was a wonderful moment for our young scientists to celebrate their hard work together.

ENO also hosted a Lunch with Principal Galerno, giving students another opportunity to be recognized and build positive connections within our school. During this celebration, students who earned top honors in the K–6 Raise Craze Fundraiser were rewarded with kid’s meals from Chick-fil-A, honoring both their generosity and their commitment to kindness.

Raise Craze: Building Character and Community

This year’s Raise Craze Kindness Fundraiser was a tremendous success and a powerful example of how service and fundraising can work together to strengthen our school.

Thanks to the incredible support of our students, families, and staff, our community completed 409 Acts of Kindness and raised $13,445 for our school. This fundraiser not only provides essential financial support for programs and activities, but also reinforces the values of compassion, responsibility, and service.

Raise Craze continues to be an outstanding program for our school because it encourages students to think beyond themselves while supporting important initiatives. It helps build strong character, strengthens family involvement, and fosters a culture of kindness that extends beyond our campus.

Caring for Our Campus and Supporting Our Staff

In addition to student programs and celebrations, ENO plays an important role in maintaining and improving our campus through their monthly clean-up days. During the most recent clean-up, volunteers added rock to the butterfly garden, enhancing both its appearance and function.

Looking ahead, ENO plans to add new garden beds in front of the Music Portable during the April campus clean-up. They will also be planting milkweed and other native Florida plants in the butterfly garden to support local pollinators. In the coming months, they hope to create a designated area where students can observe and learn about the butterfly life cycle, allowing them to watch the process of transformation firsthand.

ENO’s support also extends into our classrooms and staff spaces. They regularly stock snacks in the teachers’ lounges, provide grants to support instructional projects, and look for meaningful ways to encourage and uplift our educators. These efforts help ensure that our teachers feel valued and supported as they serve our students each day.

Leadership and Community Support

We are grateful for the leadership and dedication of our ENO officers: Cameron Calkins, President; Katie Fynes, Vice President; Megan Cooper, and Sydney Jenkins Secretary.

If you are looking to get involved and earn volunteer hours, we invite you to join ENO at their monthly meeting this Friday at 8:30 a.m. in the cafeteria. It is a great opportunity to connect, contribute, and be part of the positive impact they continue to make.

Thank you, ENO, for all that you do for our students, staff, and families. Your commitment helps make our school a place where everyone can grow and thrive.
