As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we want to ensure that all of our families have the information and resources they need for a smooth and successful start. To help with this, we’ve gathered everything in one convenient place on our website.
Please visit the Back-to-School Resources tab on our school website. This page is regularly updated with important details, documents, and deadlines to help you stay organized.
What You’ll Find:
Supply Lists and Orientation Information:
Current school supply lists are available for each grade level. Whether your student is entering kindergarten or their senior year of high school, you’ll find exactly what they need to be ready for the first day. Orientation dates and times are also listed here, so be sure to check back frequently for updates
K-6 Families: Bright School Kits Now Available
We're excited to offer an easy, stress-free way for K-6 families to get their school supplies this year. Through our partnership with Bright School Kits, families can order pre-packaged kits that include all the necessary supplies for their student’s grade level.
To take advantage of this service, please place your order by June 16. Links to order are posted on our website. This is a great way to avoid crowded stores and make sure your child has exactly what they need.
Junior High and High School Supply Lists
For grades 7 through 12, detailed supply lists are also posted. Please be sure to review these lists and begin gathering materials early so students are fully prepared.
Traffic Flow and Safety Procedures: We Love You, But Please Follow the Maps
Let’s be honest. Arrival and dismissal can feel like a fire drill during a pop quiz; chaotic, loud, and no one’s quite sure which way to go. Whether you’re a returning carline expert or a new family just trying to figure out which way is forward, we’re here to help.
To keep things safe and running smoothly, we’ve posted updated traffic flow maps and guidelines on the website. Taking a few minutes to review them ahead of time can make your morning and afternoon routines much easier. It’s like studying before you take the test; Fewer headaches. Better results.
A few reminders:
Please follow all traffic signs and staff directions. They’re not optional, and yes, that cone is supposed to be there.
Stay in your car during drop-off and pick-up unless directed otherwise.
Be patient. Everyone is trying to get somewhere, and a little kindness in the carline goes a long way.
A smooth and safe flow benefits everyone, and we appreciate your help in making it happen from the very first day. If you have any questions, please email communications@burnsscitech.org
Attention Senior Parents and Students
Senior year is filled with exciting milestones, and we want to make sure you don’t miss any of them. Please continue to check the Senior Information page on our website. This is where we will post all important senior-related dates and announcements.

Senior Parking and Spots:
The updated senior parking information is now available. If your senior would like to personalize their parking space with a painted design, please note that all artwork must be submitted to Mr. Hargrave for approval by July 30. Painting will begin on August 6. A list of approved materials and painting guidelines is also posted online to help students prepare.
We’re excited to welcome students and families back to campus and are looking forward to a fantastic year ahead. Please check the website frequently, as more information will continue to be added throughout the summer. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out.
Let’s make this a great start to the school year!
