Alumni Spotlight: Trasie Dawson, Class of 2023

 At Burns Sci Tech, we take great pride in watching our students grow into confident, passionate individuals ready to make a difference in the world, and Trasie Dawson, Class of 2023, is a shining example of that legacy.

After graduating from Burns, Trasie headed west to begin the next chapter of her academic journey at Kansas State University, where she is currently pursuing a Business major with a minor in English. Her unique combination of interests reflects both a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a love for literature, skills she plans to bring together in the future as she works toward her ultimate goal: owning her very own bookstore.

Trasie is already building a solid foundation for that dream. She's been awarded multiple merit scholarships and is thriving both academically and personally in her new home in Kansas. Her commitment to learning, thoughtful planning, and deep appreciation for community are all qualities she nurtured during her time at Burns Sci Tech, and they're clearly serving her well as she makes her mark in higher education.

We are incredibly proud of Trasie’s journey so far and look forward to seeing the impact she’ll make in the years to come. Whether she's crunching numbers or curating stories, there's no doubt she’s writing an inspiring future one chapter at a time.
