We are thrilled to share some exciting news: our school has been gifted a cutting-edge drone by longtime supporter and aviation enthusiast Dave Baldwin. This generous donation will open the door to new learning opportunities, hands-on experiences, and elevated perspectives quite literally.

This remarkable drone is more than just a flying device. It’s equipped with two high-performance batteries that charge quickly, enabling extended flight times with minimal downtime. It also features a built-in water container capable of controlled spraying, making it useful for demonstrations or environmental learning projects. Its camera offers a level of detail that allows us to explore our surroundings with clarity and precision, making it a valuable educational tool for everything from science and mapping to media production.

Before handing the drone over, Dave arranged for a live flight demonstration for our administrative team, conducted by Leif. Watching it take off, maneuver, and land with such smooth precision was a powerful preview of what our students will soon experience.

Dave Baldwin is a familiar face on our campus, especially during Aviation Day, when he lands his helicopter in the field to share his passion with our students. His continued generosity and involvement reflect a deep commitment to inspiring the next generation of learners, explorers, and innovators.

We are incredibly grateful for this contribution and are already brainstorming all the ways we can integrate it into our school experience. Thank you, Dave, for helping us bring learning to new heights.
