Today was an exciting day at our school thanks to the hard work and dedication of our ENO team, our brand-new book vending machine was delivered and is ready to inspire a love of reading in students from Kindergarten through 8th grade!
After researching and applying for a special grant, ENO’s efforts paid off in a big way. Their goal was to create a fun and meaningful way to promote literacy, and this colorful new addition to our cafeteria does just that. Students will be able to earn tokens as rewards for positive behavior, academic achievements, and acts of kindness. With those tokens, they can “purchase” a book from the vending machine, turning reading into a celebration!
The vending machine will be housed in the cafeteria and will feature a rotating selection of engaging books appropriate for the K-8th grade levels. It's more than just a machine it's a symbol of what’s possible when families, staff, and community members come together to support our students.
