Burns Sci Tech was proud to be part of such a meaningful and well supported fishing event, bringing together families, students, and community partners for a day filled with connection, teamwork, and fun. Events like this serve as a powerful reminder of what can be accomplished when a community comes together with a shared purpose.
This event would not have been possible without the generosity and support of so many. We extend our sincere thanks to the sponsors and community partners whose contributions helped make the day such a success. Their continued investment in events like this strengthens opportunities for families and students across our area.
We would like to extend a special thank you to Southern States Fishin’ & Huntn’ magazine, along with the City of Oak Hill, the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and Parks and Recreation Department, for their leadership, planning, and dedication in bringing this event to life. From initial coordination to setup and tear down, their hard work ensured the event ran smoothly and successfully while showcasing the strength and spirit of our community.

One of the highlights of the day was seeing our Burns Sci Tech students step up as volunteers. Their willingness to give their time, help where needed, and represent our school with pride speaks volumes about the culture we strive to build. These experiences not only support our community but also help our students grow as leaders.
We would also like to extend a special thank you to Mr. Carignan, who consistently goes above and beyond to support both our students and the broader community. His leadership and dedication continue to make a lasting impact.
Events like this go beyond a single day. They build relationships, create memories, and strengthen the connection between our school and the community we serve. Burns Sci Tech is proud to be part of these efforts and looks forward to continuing to support and participate in events that bring people together.
We are grateful for this incredible community and all those who help make moments like these possible.
