Your Time. Your Growth.
More flexibility. More opportunity.
FLEX Mondays give students the freedom to build a schedule around their goals. Students in good academic standing can volunteer, work, take a college or online course, complete schoolwork, or pursue enrichment and leadership opportunities. Few high schools offer this level of flexibility while maintaining strong academic expectations.
Support When You Need It.
Flexibility with accountability.
FLEX provides College, Career & Life Skills courses, individualized academic support, study skills, tutoring, and Academic Improvement Plans when needed. When students need additional help, Monday becomes a structured learning day that reinforces learning, keeps progress on track, and addresses concerns early.
Results That Matter.
Flexibility backed by excellence.
Burns has earned 11 consecutive A ratings, achieved a 97% AP exam pass rate (2024–2025), and posted 2025 proficiency rates of 94% in Biology, 88% in U.S. History, and 72% in both Math and English Language Arts. FLEX gives students more flexibility without sacrificing academic excellence.
