Chez Burns Sci Tech, nous avons mis en place un horaire flexible qui comprend une journée flexible dédiée le lundi. Veuillez prendre un moment pour consulter les détails et utiliser le lien fourni pour faire vos choix de journée flexible.

Détails de la journée flexible du lundi :

Présence obligatoire le lundi :
1. Élèves de Scholar Archway : Si votre enfant est inscrit à Scholar Archway, il doit assister aux cours le lundi. Cette journée est réservée aux séances de sciences expérimentales ou aux laboratoires de sciences AP, offrant des opportunités d'apprentissage essentielles et pratiques.
2. Cours de développement des compétences : les étudiants qui ont été placés dans le cours de développement des compétences en raison de notes insatisfaisantes doivent également assister aux cours le lundi. Veuillez noter : les notes seront examinées par l'administration tout au long du semestre pour surveiller le niveau scolaire. Les étudiants risquant d'échouer devront continuer à suivre le cours de développement des compétences jusqu'à ce que leurs résultats scolaires soient jugés satisfaisants.
Options pour tous les autres étudiants :
1. Sélectionnez un cours du lundi : les étudiants qui ne participent pas au Scholar Archway ou au cours de développement des compétences ont la possibilité de choisir un cours du lundi qui correspond à leurs intérêts ou à leurs objectifs académiques.
2. Choisir de ne pas assister : Les élèves peuvent choisir de ne pas assister à l’école le lundi s’ils le préfèrent.
Horaire flexible du lundi :
- Option de départ anticipé : les étudiants qui assistent au cours le lundi peuvent décider de partir après le déjeuner à 13h30.
- Option journée complète : Les étudiants peuvent également rester toute la journée pour participer à une séance d'étude, ce qui leur donne plus de temps pour se concentrer sur leurs études.

Searching for and applying to scholarships can be both time-consuming and challenging. To make the most of your efforts, it’s important to take some preparatory steps before diving into your search. Remember, planning ahead is crucial!

Plan ahead: Create a schedule and use a calendar to meet application deadlines.
Write a strong essay: Keep persuasive and informative essays from high school on hand to use as a starting point. Be sure to have someone edit it! (Ask an English Teacher)
Apply for multiple scholarships: The more scholarships you apply for, the better your chances of receiving one.
Demonstrate academic excellence: Scholarship winners typically have strong academic credentials.
Gain experience: Job Shadow or seek a mentor.
Grow your leadership portfolio: Take on leadership roles in school (SGA, NHS, Etc.) or community clubs.
Fill out the FAFSA: The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is an application for grants and loans from the federal government. The state of Florida's deadline for the FAFSA is May 15.
Create a Resume: Develop a resume that highlights your educational achievements or work experiences. Keep a log or folder documenting your activities, travels, connections, and lessons learned.
Request Reference Letters Early: Start gathering reference letters from your minister, employer, teachers, guidance counselors, coaches, and babysitting families. Make 10-15 copies of each letter and have them signed individually. Store them in the same folder as your resumes.
