Senior Series: Thank You, Class of 2026

As graduation quickly approaches, we wanted to take a moment to simply say thank you to the Class of 2026.

Thank you for choosing Burns Sci Tech. In a world filled with choices and different paths, you chose to become part of this school family, and because of that, you helped make Burns what it is today.

Thank you for your uniqueness. One of the things that has always made this class stand out is the individuality each of you brought to campus. You were never afraid to be yourselves, to explore your interests, to try new things, and to help create a school culture that feels welcoming, creative, driven, and full of personality.

Thank you for helping shape our traditions and becoming part of so many firsts in school history. Whether it was athletics, STEM programs, leadership opportunities, clubs, or academics, this class consistently stepped forward and helped build programs and memories that future students will now get to experience because of you.

Thank you for your maturity and growth over the years. Watching many of you grow from nervous freshmen into confident seniors has been incredibly rewarding. You have shown leadership, resilience, determination, and responsibility in so many ways.

But thank you also for reminding us that it is okay to laugh, have fun, and enjoy the journey, too.

Some of the best memories are not just the big accomplishments, but the moments of school spirit, pep rallies, dress-up days, dancing at prom, cheering in the gym, laughing in the hallways, and finding ways to make ordinary days memorable. You reminded us that school is not only about preparing for the future, it is also about creating moments and relationships that last a lifetime.

Thank you for helping create a school culture we can truly be proud of. As a K–12 school, younger students are always watching, and whether you realized it or not, many of you became role models for the students following behind you. They watched you compete, lead, volunteer, perform, create, innovate, and grow. You helped show them what it means to be an Eagle.

You have helped build a culture of leadership, innovation, school spirit, and community that will continue long after you walk across the graduation stage.

Most importantly, thank you for allowing us to be a small part of your story. It has been an honor watching this class grow into the young adults you are today.

As you prepare to leave Burns Sci Tech and begin your next chapter, know that you will always have a home here. No matter where life takes you, you will always be part of the Burns family, and you will forever be an Eagle.

Congratulations, Class of 2026. Thank you for the memories, the laughter, the leadership, and the legacy you leave behind. We cannot wait to see how high you soar.
