5th grade ELA is an exciting time of adventure, hard work, and collaboration while learning the current state standards. 5th grade math is a time for delving into the language of math with challenging work that deepens the understanding and purpose of this universally important subject.
Here we closely study action-packed novels and create elaborate hands-on projects to showcase our understanding. Through a hands-on approach, we delve into writing essays by holding classroom debates and discussions to brainstorm ideas together.
We learn math by taking a problem-based approach. Collaborating on real-world problems and sharing strategies allows us to learn current state math standards in a meaningful way.
